About
Hi there and welcome! This site was created in order to organize the various professional activities I am involved with so that friends and colleagues could be updated on them and comment and reflect on this work.
I’m kind of a “hybrid” in my professional life. Starting in September of 2011, I have been the Program Director for the PhD program in Clinical Psychology for the California School of Professional Psychology/Alliant University, Fresno Campus. I am really excited about this opportunity! I’m also actively engaged in writing and research in the areas of masculinities . You can learn more about my recent book on masculinities, sample publications, videos about masculinities and my developing theory of dialogical masulinity and current research projects on this site. I also do community consulting work to assist people in finding ways to address social justice issues in their workplaces and I also work with people to help them with educational transitions in their lives. And finally, I am a community activist throughout all of this work and try to promote and support allies in a variety of ways.
Thank you for visiting my site- I hope you will check back often, get connected to new resources, make comments, ask questions, and keep me posted on all of the interesting things you are doing as well.
Cheers,
Jack
